About the practice
We are working with an RCVS accredited hospital that cover the Wigan and surrounding area.
With a fantastic local reputation for high standards, client care and low staff turnover it’s rare there is an OOH vacancy in this hospital!
All inpatients are kept on site to ensure continuity of care and as a result the OOH shifts are varied.
As they are such an established and busy hospital, there is a large team with many specialists (RVNs and Vets!) With separate day and OOH teams.
If you have a passion for ECC, wards and inpatient care- this may be the role for you!
Duties and hours
The position is an average of 42 hours per week, with a rolling rota of 5 days on, 5 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, which allows a great work / life balance.
You would work in sole charge during the evening from 7:30pm till 7:30am. Alongside a dedicated and experienced night team.
This is a very “hands on” role, and would include inpatient care, theatre and emergency work.
