About the practice
We are working with an independent small animal practice based near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire.
They are proudly independent and focus on ensuring all clients and their pets are treated as individuals and enjoy building longstanding relationships. As a result, they have a fantastic local reputation.
The site is a GP focused surgery, purely focusing on small animals. With lovely modern and purpose-built facilities. Our client is proud of how the team works collectively with discussions between both vets and RVNs, ensuring the highest standards of care can be reached.
The working environment is very team focused, so the ideal candidate will need to enjoy working closely with others.
Duties and hours
Both part- and full-time hours can be considered for the right candidate.
Hours are Monday- Friday with on call on rota.
Our client feels it is important to keep their patients in house to ensure continuity of care. As a result, there is OOH on rota, this works out as one night per week and 1:7 weekends (only on call.)
When on call over a weekend, they generally average 4-5 calls over the weekend from Friday night through to Monday morning, and don’t always have in patients. So, the OOH requirement isn’t huge.
