We are working with a well-established, team focused independent group based near to Swadlincote in Leicestershire.
They operate a first opinion and rehabilitation referral service in a beautiful rural location.
Our client is looking for a RVN to join their experienced, friendly team of 5 vets, 6 nurses, 2 physiotherapists, practice manager (also an RVN!) and 6 receptionists.
The practice boasts state of the art facilities including water treadmill, laser machines, multi parameter monitors, dental X-Ray and a purpose-built building with separate cat and dog wards. They are RWAF accredited and a training practice employing SVN’s.
With great transport links to the M42 and as a result easy access to Birmingham, Nottingham, Derby and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate would simply be a caring Veterinary Nurse with a sense of humour to fit in with their team. The role would suit a newly graduated nurse or somebody with more experience, support would be provided if needed.
Your week would consist of anaesthetic monitoring and prep, a variety of nurse clinics including senior screening and laser therapy, providing support to their veterinary surgeons and inpatient care. There will be no reception work in this role.
